NOTD - Crushed Pelican

So called because I used China Glaze in Pelican Grey and Crackle Glaze in Crushed Candy. Don't worry, no actual pelicans were harmed in the making of this NOTD.
Pelican Grey is a pale, true grey cream with hidden shimmer. It was released as a part of China Glaze's Spring 2011 Anchors Away collection. Crushed Candy is a bright turquoise which reminds me a lot of China Glaze For Audrey. It was released as a part of the 2011 Spring Crackle Glaze collection.
My trick to getting lots of irregularly shaped cracks is to wiggle the brush as I'm applying the crackle polish.
This manicure lasted for a week with minimal tip wear.

The thing I really HATE about crackle polish is how thick the formula gets once you open it!!! Mine is like cottage cheese right now!
Do you reckon I can pour some thinner into it?

  1. Oh love these polishes. Pretty NOTD. I need to get Pelican Bay. Sorry about the thick formula, never had a crackle polish before.

  2. I LOVE this look! I think you could use just a drop of thinner, but it does look great.

  3. Oooh thanks for the tip on how you're applying the crackle for more, well, cracks. I haven't gotten around to using my black crackle.

I think a teeny tiny bit of thinner should help. Worst comes to worst, you got yourself another bottle of Audrey. :P
